Joe Molnar has managed to combine his two greatest passions in life, stamp & coin collecting and accounting. He did so by creating Molnar’s Stamp and Coin, a business that originally began in 1979 in Sarasota, Florida with its first storefront location. In 1994, Joe relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he quickly became the largest dealer in the state; and a reference partner of five major banks who send both their customers and their own staff to Molnar’s for appraisals and sales of stamp and coin collections, as well as precious metals. Arizona has no better source, and there are few equal sources globally, for buying major assets to grow your collection, or for getting a fair market price when you choose to sell your collection. Joe’s appraisal skills will amaze you, and his honesty will assure you that you have chosen wisely.
Joe began collecting stamps and coins in 1968, and passes on to his customers the same qualities of service he most wanted as a collector: responsiveness, integrity, and incredible knowledge. Mr. Molnar travels extensively to acquire prime stocks of stamps and coins to serve both his web and his store clients. He is a member of ASDA, APS, PCGS and NGC and both expects and delivers the highest standards of ethics in the trade. He is particularly well versed in US stamps and coins, as well as stamps of the British Commonwealth and French Colonies, although he possesses formidable knowledge of both coins and stamps from anywhere in the world.
Molnar’s Stamp and Coin has been represented at major international stamp exhibitions including Washington, D.C. in 1989, Pacific in 1997, and D.C. again in 2006. His motto, “Serving the World Since 1979,” is not just an advertising slogan, but a fact. His two storefronts have served the entire world of philately and numismatics through buying and selling world class material.
Joe provides appraisal service, grading service advice, and purchasing of material ranging from entire estate collections to individual stamp and coin rarities.
